As announced by the Prime Minister yesterday we will be remaining at Alert Level 4 for the next week and then moving ‘in principle’ to Alert Level 3 at 11.59 pm on Tuesday.  This will be confirmed in a national briefing on Monday.  This means we are planning for a return to school on Wednesday or Thursday of next week (this is dependent on Ministry of Education guidelines which should come out tomorrow). 

Thank you to those who have emailed [email protected] to indicate you have a child in Year 9 or 10 who requires supervision when we move to Alert Level 3.  We do want to be in a position to support our parents who are essential workers in this way so please do email this address if supervision is required.

Vaccinations

As also announced by the Prime Minister yesterday one way we can move away from having lockdowns in the future is for as many people as possible to get vaccinated.  If you have an appointment later in the month you can go to book my vaccine  and rebook for this week.  You can also call the Vaccination Heathline on 0800 28 29 26 for further information.

Please note, no one is required to show identification to be vaccinated, but if someone does not have an NHI number, showing a passport can speed this process up.

Please also note that it is your choice under the Code of Health and Disability Services Rights to choose whether you, or your children under 16, wish to get vaccinated.
